Monday- P-DAY (A.K.A.) the best day of life! We went to a member's home for FHE and that was really fun because they have young kids!
Tuesday- We had District Meeting and District Lunch at Rosa's... basically Cafe Rio on steroids! So good! Then while we were proselyting, we found a cute 17 year old girl named Amanda! She is soooo prepared to receive the gospel! So we are working with her and she is great!
Wednesday- We were knocking some houses near our apartment and found a lady named Louise... she hated us and told us that our religion is a CULT and was so so so mean hahaha... she'll accept the gospel some day... just not today haha! Later that night, we knocked into a family who was so nice! They love Glenn Beck and want us to come back!
Thursday- bike day... well it quickly turned into "walking day" Sister Affleck flicked a rock off of her bike tire and it started deflating!! So we have to go get her tire fixed today! We walked an hour to each appointment and an hour back.. safe to say I had blisters on the bottoms of both feet! But on the bright side... CONGRATS TO UNCLE CRAIG AND AUNT LISA FOR GETTING SEALED!! That was the highlight of my day and I wasn't even physically there! Mom- remind me to tell you about our law of chastity lesson that day.. too inappropriate to email it! hahahahahaha
Friday- The 4th of July! We went to the mission home and had a get- together with a lot of the missionaries and the new mission president and his wife!! They are SO awesome!!! We went home and were having companionship prayer by our back- sliding glass door (that's where our study area is) and the other neighbors were playing beer pong watching us pray haha!! It was weird.
Saturday- We proselyted... all day! We met an older lady who lost her hubby a month ago so we testified to her about the Plan of Salvation and it made her cry. She has been attending her Baptist church for 60+ years now, but said we can come back anytime.
Sunday- church was awesome. Our Relief Society lesson was sooo good about overcoming trials and coming together as women in the church to help lighten each other's loads. All I could think about during that lesson was that Madelin Smith would probably give a lesson like this lesson in her ward. It was so good.
Anyways- This week was great! I love you all and hope you are doing great! Thank you Tonya Blaser for sending me a letter this week! It was just what I needed to hear! I love you all! Please send me your addresses :)
Love, Sister Evans
